About the Vendor

Gateway Theatre is a new multi-theatre venue located in the heart of Bukit Merah Central. It aims to be a creative arts space that promotes Made-In-Singapore works and talents of all cultures, while developing an appreciation of the arts within the heartlands of Bukit Merah and in Singapore.

Its two main venues are the 930-seat Main Theatre and the 200-seat modular Black Box theatre. Within the building are two studio spaces for multi-purpose use, an outdoor roof garden and small balcony gardens for open-air performances. Gateway Theatre aims to fill this building with performances big and small, of various genres and styles.

Also within the building are several other facilities:

1. Dance Studio (Floor area: 16.3m x 10.3m)

2. Sky Garden (150 pax), a rooftop garden with a 12.8m x 4.4m stage, perfect for open-air performances, parties and events

3. The Gallery (80 pax), which serves as a reception area for the Black Box, or a room for rehearsals, meetings, workshops and seminars

4. Studio 1 (60 pax), a multi-purpose studio for rehearsals, meetings or workshops
